Construction of the new Co-op at Chelmund's Cross Village Centre is now complete and the food store is open for business.  The development also includes a Co-operative Funeral Care service, office space for Council staff, a car park for shoppers and visitors to the village centre and other improvements to public areas.

The marketing of 2 new retail units is also taking place.  There has been a high level of interest and preferred bidders will be selected shortly.
