Work is progressing well on the new retail and office development at Chelmund's Cross Village Centre. Solihull Council and the North Solihull Partnership are working with LSP Developments Ltd and Central England Co-operative to create a new food store, Co-operative Funeral Care service, office space for Council staff, a car park for shoppers and visitors to the village centre and other improvements to public areas. Wildgoose Construction Ltd started on site on 18 April 2016 and are on schedule to complete the work by March 2017. The marketing of 2 new retail units is also taking place.
