Dale, Dominic, Ryan and Steven started their one week school work experience placements with teams at WM Housing Group on 4th July.

They are the first of 10 local students who will be completing placements throughout the summer. They are all students at Grace Academy in Chelmsley Wood. Dominic is based with Governance, Dale with ICT, Ryan with Finance and Steven with Development, Regen, Sales and Procurement. This summer, WM Housing will also be hosting three students from Smiths Wood Sports College in Chelmsley Wood, and three relatives of WM staff who applied for one week placements. These are staff from WM Homes, Whitefriars and 4040 whose relatives particularly wanted work experience in Finance and HR.

The majority of school work placements across WM Group are reserved for students attending schools in areas where WM have housing stock. From October 2017 WM Housing will be promoting school work opportunities available next summer (2018) and encouraging applications.
